Join us for the next installment in the ASEP Successful Coaching Webinar Series “NCAA’s New Academic Requirements and Impact on College Eligibility and Recruiting,” scheduled for Thursday, April 12, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm ET. Dan Eassa of the Recruiting Education Foundation, Tampa, Florida, is the webinar presenter.

The NCAA recently approved legislation which has greatly increased academic standards for NCAA freshman eligibility. This free, hour-long webinar will cover the changes, which include

  • higher SAT/ACT score requirements.
  • no retake of classes senior year.
  • higher minimum core GPA requirements.
  • minimum core classes requirements by end of junior year.
  • when do the changes take effect?

About the Presenter

Dan Eassa has been involved in virtually every aspect of athletics, and at every level of athletes. A four-year collegiate student athlete, Dan was fortunate enough to be invited in for 11 NFL, 3 CFL tryouts, and has signed several professional football contracts. A 17-year sportscaster, Dan has covered such events as the Super Bowl, World Series, Daytona 500, the Masters, as well as multiple collegiate and high school championships. Dan has also made time to coach athletes from the recreational to the professional level. He has now dedicated his life to educate high school athletes and their families about the importance of academics and how it can help them achieve their athletic dreams, and not the other way around.
